About this Project

Miami Beach has been a popular destination for commercial photography and video for more than 40 years. I did my first location shoot there in 1990 and have been in love with the weather, architecture, and vibe of this electric beach town ever since. I have done many fashion, beauty, and lifestyle, photo shoots for magazines, ad agencies, and retailers. It’s also a great break from the harsh weather of the Northeast! Since 2015, clients have been sending me to Miami Beach for Drone and video production work. My preferred time of day to shoot is early morning. Miami Beach is a “nightlife” hot spot, so mornings are perfect because it is less crowded. However, times have changed since I first started shooting there. Due to the increased popularity of drones, permits and police escorts are now required. So if you are doing a shoot for a client, make sure you contact the Miami Beach film office for guidance.
